Job Summary: The Corporate Store Sales Associate is responsible for providing exemplary customer service that is designed to improve the productivity and profitability of the Hallmark Corporate Stores. As a member of the store team the Sales Associate will serve as a role model of best practice retail execution. The overall focus is on sales and service at all times. Stocking products and assisting with stockroom duties are accomplished as needed. The Sales Associate will work closely with the Corporate Store Team and report directly to the Store Manager.
Minimum Education, Experience and Basic Qualifications: A high school degree is preferred. Experience in retail assignments or other related outside experience. The incumbent have strong verbal selling skills, interpersonal skills, flexibility, a strong sense of urgency, the ability to adapt to change and the desire and ability to learn the business. Basic qualifications include eligible to work in the United States, must have reliable transportation, must be at least 16 years of age with appropriate permit as required, and willing to work the day before and after major holidays including evenings and/or weekends. In addition, physical duties involve the ability to continuously stand/walk; frequently push/pull; occasionally bend/stoop/crawl/reach above shoulders/kneel; climb a ladder, and carry up to 40 pounds; i.e., fixture parts and cartons.
